For your consideration. I have more than forty-five years of litigation and appellate experience. I have assisted and advised Araujo Law PC and Tax Relief Pros with the tax debt relief cases and their complex tax and contract litigation cases they represent before the IRS and State Taxing Agencies.

I have been a member in good standing of the State Bar of California since 1975. In 1975, the University of California, Berkeley granted me a Juris Doctorate. I was an Associate Editor of the California Law Review.

I provide the following information regarding my forty-five years of litigation experience. In 1975, I joined the Criminal Division for the Los Angeles City Attorney’s Office. I tried a substantial number of cases to a jury. In 1977, I joined the General Counsel Division as a staff attorney in the Los Angeles City Attorney’s Office, where I handled tax litigation, advised the City Council on proposed tax legislation, including the constitutionality of proposed municipal tax legislation, including the legality of special assessment districts. I also was the designated Deputy City Attorney advising the Los Angeles Convention Center and litigating disputes between the Convention Center and third parties.

Mr. Araujo works directly with the managing attorney, Montserratt Araujo, Esq. on complex elements of tax resolution cases that require highly advanced legal writing necessary to battle the IRS and win for our clients.  Clients appreciate his bedside manner and ability to help guide clients through the very real and serious stress of dealing with the IRS.

Being one of the founding partners of Tax Relief Pros, with over 16 years of experience in the tax resolution industry, I have served in every capacity and been involved in every stage of tax resolution strategies.  Keeping a hands-on approach, I currently serve as one of the senior case managers and support the firm’s attorneys in assessing, investigating, and collaborating with our legal team to carry out approved, effective, and successful tax resolutions at both the federal and state level.  I have seen the plight of those dealing with the weight of the federal government firsthand and how debilitating it can be to ordinary citizens with little to no experience in dealing with taxing agencies. I find helping those in need of tax resolution a worthy cause, and I am proud of my partners and myself for having built this firm specializing in this industry.

Rachel is often the first point of contact for our clients with tax problems. She knows talking about tax problems can be difficult and emotional and will put you at ease. Having over thirteen years as a tax counselor has elevated her skills to benefit the thousands of taxpayers that seek our help.
